    3:30pm it is. Thanks.

What did you use for this sketch? That's not the work of pencils is it?

Last term, I had a statistics seminar that was absolute torture. Some classmates and I came up with a little game. We would see how long we could go without looking at the clock. If you look at my notes, or the notes of my classmates, you see these seemingly meaningless columns of numbers. It's actually the number of minutes gone without clockwatching. I think my record was 27 minutes, and that was only because I fell asleep for about 15 of them.

    :D

egan - was just going to do a line picture but then spotted some maggoty old oil pastels so coloured it in. hehe

chicky - only going home as fast as I could!! lol. One of those horrible days!

    egan - see above :P

michael - Exactly! My friend and I had the opposite going in our statistics (BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERGH!) lectures. We'd have a page where we would write down the minutes, and every time a minute went past we'd cross out the time and write the new amount of time left. It got so exciting when it was down to 1 minute!

My neighbour has the same gig as you, except he only does relief ( also art ) these days so he can surf more. He reckons his eyes are glued to the clock from about 1:30pm onward!!

PS the crayola was a nice touch. =)

lol, I have days when my eyes are glued to the clock from about 10am. I have other days when I'm like "it's 6.30pm and I'm still here? How did that happen?". Time is a weird thing.

I guess we are all guilty of this, clock watching. I do it when I am on night duty, if it is a slow shift that is.

I hate those days, but in my case I'm usually watching it so that I don't go home late again. Yuck!

It's in color this time! :)

cazzie - it's that frustration of 'just get me out' that really gets to me!

scorpy - FRIDAY afternoon is the worst!!
